Sverige i lagtävling?
Dear backgammon friend,
The Nations Cup is back in Cannes!
This summer - July, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st -
before the Cannes Summer Cup, 16 countries will face each
other at the JW Marriott, in the center of La Croisette.
Each team (only one per country) consists of 2 to 4
players, one of them being the captain.
The 16 teams will be divided into 4 groups. After having
played against the 3 others teams, the winner of each
group will reach the semi-finals. The losers of the semi-
finals will compete for the 3rd place.
Each match will consist in one double of 9 points and two
singles of 7 points.
Entry: 1000€ (including 100€ fees).
Price distribution: Winner 60%, Finalist 25%, 3rd place
15%.
Clock: Single 2’30’’per point + 15 seconds per move
Double 3 minutes per point + 15 seconds per
move.
To register, send an email to cannescup@gmail.com with
the names, nationalities and emails of the players, the
first one being the captain.
Some countries have already announced their
participation.
We rely on you to build your national team the way you
like it.
Only the firsts 16 countries to submit a team will
compete so don't wait!
